Basic Personal Care
- Dietary: Assistance with meal preparation and clean up and assistance with eating/feeding.
- Dressing/Grooming: Assistance with dressing and grooming.
- Bathing: Assistance with bathing.
- Toileting/Continence: Assistance in going to the bathroom and changing bed linen.
- Mobility/Transfer: Assistance with transfer and ambulation when the participant can at least partially bear their own weight.

Advanced Personal Care
- Changing bags and soap and water hygiene. Removal of external catheters, inspect skin and reapply catheter.
- Administration of prescribed program, including use of suppositories and sphincter stimulation.
- Application of medicated (prescription lotions, ointments, or dry aseptic dressings to unbroken skin.)
- Application of aseptic dressings to superficial skin breaks or abrasions as directed by a licensed nurse.
- Passive range of motion.
- Use of assistive device for transfers.
